GSS-1306

Postby Bob McCarty » Fri Mar 15, 2013 3:55 pm

There is a reprint on eBay. The title is Service Analysis. Does anyone know if this applies to the Cub and is any good? If so, I'll try and get it so it can be added to the manuals section. Is there anywhere to see a complete list of Blue Ribbon manuals for the Cub?

Thanks, Bob

There are quite a number of the manuals currently available on eBay for assorted IH and other tractors. Following is a quote from one of the advertised manuals description.

International Harvest, Farmall, McCormick Deering Tractor Service Analysis For Farm and Industrial Equipment Tractor Chassis Service Manual Service / Shop Manual. This is a reproduction of the same manual that the factory issued to the Farmall tractor dealers service department.

Diagnosos of the cause of failure of any part or assembly is one of the most challenging aspects of servicemens work. This manual was prepared in order to provide the servicemans with a reference to help him analyze faulty parts.
My thought. Of little or no value to virtually all Cub owners. I understand the need for the IH dealer's service department having the manual to diagnose what caused the damage or need for repair; under warranty, owner's fault, faulty part from factory, etc..
I have an excuse. CRS.
