Plowing Some SnowWe got 9" of snow last night so I used the opportunity to push some around with the LowBoy. First time I have ever plowed snow with a Cub. Had a ball and the Cub worked like a charm!!!! (MODS - if this should be in a different forum please feel free to move and sorry about that.)

Re: Plowing Some SnowPlowing snow is great seat time. Looks like you know what you're doing. As much as I like pushing snow, I'm ready for warm weather. Thanks for posting the pic's.

Re: Plowing Some SnowWe have about 4" so far this evening with the snow expected to last until Sunday morning. I may get to plow a little tomorrow if it keeps coming down.

Re: Plowing Some SnowLooks to me like the poor little feller spent the night out in the cold himself! Extra snow on the hood for weight, right?
I've never met a tractor I didn't like....but I have found some that were greatly annoying....

Re: Plowing Some Snowthat storm is supposedly coming our way, but it looks as if it will pass north of us. What a shame.

Re: Plowing Some Snow
You are correct, Sarge. Pippin had quite a snow cap from sitting outside. The weight did help!!! Vince

Re: Plowing Some SnowCurious about your 3-point platform. Home made? I'd like to see some photos without snow on it sometime. I do need to make something like that for moving bee hives & equipment around. We only got a serious snow dusting out of the last blast. Greg
Re: Plowing Some SnowGreg, that's actually a 1-pt quick hitch carry-all. Works great.

Re: Plowing Some Snow
Greg, here is an idea for you. http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/Sketch ... index.html If you want one for a three point you can buy the frame already made at Tractor Supply, Rural King etc I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: Plowing Some SnowThanks, guys. Shouldn't be too hard to make one. I might like to add some sort of articulation so it stays fairly flat while raising. This might make a real handy rig to have.
