Palm Sunday Snow!

Postby Stanton » Mon Mar 25, 2013 6:47 am

Woke up Palm Sunday to about 6" of snow. It continued 'til mid-morning, adding an additional 1"-2". This is the 3rd big snow of our winter.

Saw on the news last night: up 'til Feb 20th, we received 4.9" of snow...since Feb 21st, we received 36"+!!

Here are some pics:

Cleared 5 driveways and I was ready to come inside!! Sure glad I have a Cub!
Hope this is our last snowfall this winter. I'm ready for Spring.

Good morning Stanton...

I just love that third picture with the Cub itching to get out of the barn and "git-r-done" :D

My '49 is the same way and I can't recall who said it here but every time it starts to snow, "I can hear the Cub kicking at the barn doors to get out!" Makes me smile every time !

The best shot is that last one: a delightful view from the seat :{_}:

Our 1-2" prediction here in Northcentral PA has just started; don't think "Mariam" (the Cub) has seen it yet 'cause there's no noise from the garage yet

Stanton:

Snow is nice isn't it :?: Makes for some quality seat time. I am marveling at the amount of snow falling in the US right now. 15 states ... with rots of if. Amazing. Glad you had some fun :D We alway know that March we get 2/3 of our annual snow fall. A very snowy month up here.

Hey Stanton!

We only got around 2" down here yesterday and about 1/2 of it was melting off until evening when the temp dropped. Winter has been hard on you guys up there in your neck of the woods!

I have no clue what a "sweeds" is and googling it didn't help. I don't think I should even mention a couple of the hits I got. That was probably a bad choice of words as well considering..... So what exactly is a "sweeds" in Bullitt County, KY?

Probably a 262C Bertone...I had a 242 that we got 450,000 miles on it. Had it tuned so well you could not hear it running. Miss that car...
