Hi All - I'm going to start priming some of the smaller parts that don't need further work. Does anyone object to a primer undercoat using Rust Oleum Professional (Gray)? The '48 will be finished sprayed with a regular gun and IH paint w/hardener when done.

I've used Rustoleum primer for most of my tractor restorations and never had a problem with it. However, on the latest one, I used Case IH primer and could not believe how much nicer it is to work with. Covers VERY good, builds nice, sands out nice. It costs a little more, but it sure does a good job. But, all the CaseIH paints really do a great job. I'm totally sold on them! If you're going to the expens of using their paint as a finish paint, I would definitely go ahead and get the IH primer.
