Who's plowing????

Postby CapeCodCubs » Sat Mar 30, 2013 1:20 pm

Beautiful day in sunny southeastern Massachusetts. Just drove up the country road behind UMass Dartmouth and plowed the community garden. Now I plan on plowing my upper garden. Seat time, baby, seat time!!!!! :{_}: :{_}: :{_}:

You make me jealous, it is so muddy here that if I tried doing any plowing I would need a snorkel to reach the top of the ground.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Pris cleaned out some of the flower beds today. The bees were out flying in the sun.

I have some plowable ground, but I don't need it yet. Gonna let the rye cover crop grow, some more, before I plow. (If the big, antlered rodents, let it grow! Lots of tracks, out there!) Ed

Happy Birthday Ed!
They want to get some stuff in the ground next weekend with row covers.

Temporarily took the snow blade off and hitched up the IH100 Rear Grader Blade to tackle the 320 foot gravel drive. We've been pretty dry lately so no standing water or mud in the driveway.
I did take the chains off, figured any snow we get will disappear plenty quick.

Don - how much snow do you have on the ground? We have a couple of shaded areas with about 4" left, but other than the leftover piles, the grass is ready to take off.

Felt good to get outside today and start cleaning up the yard.

Plowing dirt??? Your kidding right?? Planting flowers?? I'm still growing snow in some spots plus there's no mud yet because the ground is going still rock hard too. All the shady areas still have three inches of snow yet. The doe with her fawns are here every night at my deer block. The apples we were buying got too pricey.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
