Hi, new user so please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong place. Just bought a 1949 Cub and have started to restore it. Question I have is do they all have a C-60 engine or are there different engines in different years. Thanks, Ed

Ed:

G'day to you and congrats :applause: on acquiring your first new to you Cub :D They all have the same engine. There were revisions over the years but a C-60 is the standard engine. Suggest you familiarize yourself with you Cub by first reading the McCormick Farmall Cub Operator's Manual 5-1-49, There are losts of resources available to our members, simply spend a little time reading the information at the links below:

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. One of the most important tools you can have right now as a new cub owner is this site. Spend some time learning how to use your new tool, how to find manuals, and information, check through the information and then put your new tool to work. It's a great place to gain knowledge about the little Farmall Cub and a fun place to spend time.

They all have the C-60 but some of the internals have changed over the years. Alot of the parts are interchangeble though.
