Cubs. Which are more available, the Lowboy or the standard International ? And what would the difference in price be ? The later lowboys had more hp, does anyone know where those serial numbers started ? thanks!

Just look at the serial numbers... The "regular" Cubs were made from 1947 through 1979, and the serial numbers were approaching 300,000. The original LoBoys ended in the 20,000s. 154 LoBoys were in the 30,000s, IIRC. 185 and 184 LoBoys had even lower serial numbers. It's pretty obvious which outnumbers which...

Of all the styles made, the first generation 1947-1954 style is probably the most common. Judging by serial numbers, nearly half of the total "regular" Cubs were produced in the first 8 years.

You can also go to http://www.ytmag.com for serial number info, which will give you a rough idea of how many were made.

Price, as always, depends on the condition of the tractor, the number of implements included, the area in which the tractor is for sale, and most importantly, what the buyer and seller agree on.
