Radiator Cap

Postby twotone » Sun Apr 07, 2013 4:16 am

My 1973 Cub has a 7 lb radiator cap on it. Is this correct?, or should it have a no pressure cap on it.

S/N 248125 and above I believe should only have the pressure cap, and if I remember correctly there were 2 different style 7lb caps depending on the radiator neck height.

Mine is 240974. The radiator has a longer neck that looks like it might be for a pressure cap, but it may have been replaced.
