Rudi...that sprocket on the rear is probably right. Note the hopper drive is off to the side not under the hopper like on a Cub 101. Makes sense to me...tough to get on and off unless you are pretty nimble.

yeah. That is how the John Blue Side Dressers work. I've got one that came off of a 140 and the sprocket bolted to the center of the wheel. Although I've not used one, it is Very well-built and heavy duty. It has an auger inside the hopper to feed the fertilizer. It seems like the speed adjustments are also made within the main gear on the unit. No gears to swap out.

Where do you find the reserve amount? Do you have to sign in due to it being a private sale? I looked did not see it in the ebay ad.

The reserve amount does not show.

The log shows one post deleted from this thread. It shows that you did it yourself.

By the way, the sprocket is attached to the hub. So tire position will not change the sprocket alignment. It could cause a chain clearance problem.

Now that he has and idea what it will sell for it will probably show up on Craigslist. He has done this before. I believe he uses Ebay as a price guage.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

but don't you think after a few months or a couple years in the tractor biz, that he wouldn't need a price gauge?

He always seems to want to test the market.
