Hi all - I thought original equipment front tires had the diamonds on the side. It does not look like these do. I think it was Boss who had a pair of Diamond tires - he better raise his price....
I'm not considering buying these - was just browsing during lunch. $520 for two front tires - such a deal. I'm pretty sure this is way out of line.....

Those are copies of the originals, for those who are afraid of the "correct police" Ed

Well I am afraid of them - but not as much as I am going broke on originality. I'm a bit like Dirty Harry - "A Man's Got to Know His Limitations"

Nice to have met you this weekend Ed - I'm editing the video's I took, I will send.

Those tires are 6.50-20, too big for a Cub. The seller, Miller Tire has these (all 3 rib) posted on their web site:
the 4.00-12 for $80
the 6.00-12 for $125
the 4.00-15 for $115
the 5.00-15 for $120

This may reduce the 'sticker shock' somewhat. Miller Tire will be attending the RPRU and, if ordered two weeks prior, will deliver to the Roundup for free.

...and they're not for a Cub.

...and Firestone does not make them anymore, although I seem to recall that someone picked up the molds.

Peter, I believe Miller is making the cub ones. Ed

they are made in india. I use to buy them when firestone still made them. The last set I bought were made in india. installed on my democub. they lasted 4 years before cracking. then one blew out. I dont think i have 10 hours on my demo cub since i restored it. I htink them copies are junk!

I just bought a 5 rib Carlise made in the USA front tire. From what I understand, Titan now has the Goodyear molds??? Not sure where the Firestones are made. Apparently though the Titan's are made in the US as are some Carlisle's. The one I bought is a nice tire.

Yes, I have a brand new pair of tri-ribs, but Ellie has 5 rib turf type tires, so I needed to match the other one. I do have a feeling I will be buying another one in the near future though. The tire cost me around 90 bucks Cdn .. about the price of the Miller tires without the shipping and duty.
