I am not sure who made them, but Gary B. brought me a set of inserts that fit the hole in the head [ you use the head as a temp let ] and a 5/16 drill bit would go in it and drill the old bolt out and all you had to do was run a tap in it , you saved the old threads.
I expect any good machinist could make them

George Willer hated easy outs. I agree. Don't use them if at all possible to do something else. As far as the Loctite freeze stuff, I tried some and had rather dismal results. Wouldn't buy it again. Would go back to some of the old tried and true methods first. My 2 cents. Steve K.

I'm pretty certain I won't be using them again. I really like the idea that David posted on drilling through the head with a guide in the head. I will be having myself one of those. Now, the question become were does one find a Solid Carbide 5/16 drill long enough to go through the head and into the block that will drill Grade 9 hardness bolts? The solid carbide two-flute drill I purchased drilled it and the easy-out easily - I just don't know if they come longer.

Here is a nice technic by Harold's dad. Just before Mr. Jesse passed I had gotten one of his kits with the inserts and the proper bits. viewtopic.php?f=141&t=65687&p=535649&hilit=head#p535649
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
