To all you experienced Cub owners, what is the best lubricant for the seat post?

Plain ol' 30W oil, just like it calls for in the manual... :)

I won't claim that its the best but plain old WD-40 sure makes me feel like I'm floating.

That would be a serious spring to make me feel like I was floating. :) :)

Hi, I've found they didn't make it so you can lube it much with the one hole it shows in the book. The center shaft gets about no lube. I take out the center shaft once in a while and lube it with grease, you take out the 2 bolts near the bottom, at the rear, and the piece of metal that the bolts hold on, then the shaft lifts out the top. Then grease the shaft some, and put it back together.
