No he wasn't missing. He has just been out playing.. er, I mean working with Cubs. Yesterday we had a cookout to celebrate Bonnie and Joseph graduating from Hocking College. Neither Bonnie or Joseph wanted a party so we had a "Not a graduation party cookout" instead. Being somewhat behind in our preparations for our guest Darrell and Janet jumped in to help. Darrell mowed with Spirit while I worked on backfilling the trench for the water and sewer line project between the house and barn. Miss Janet and Bonnie worked in the kitchen making all kinds of goodies for the evening's festivities. In the mean time David and Willy picked up two loads of manure for the high tunnel from my cousin John's farm.

Never passing up on an opportunity to use a cub we finished up by giving an indoor plowing demonstration for our arriving guest. I believe it is safe to say that it was the first time Darrell or myself for that matter have plowed indoors.

Who says a cub with a 59" mower can't cut tall grass?

Darrell doing a fine job of mowing.

Who's up for a little indoor plowing?

Willy showing he can keep up with the pros.

You know the hole wouldn't have been so big if the line was where the map said it would be.

Looks like some good times. So I guess the plowing was done to loosen the soil for the indoor Cub Tug track for use in August!

That high tunnel building is 96 feet long. It would almost serve for an indoor track!

Might want to make sure the end door is open in case someone "GOES OUT THE GATE".

Looks like everyone had fun on the Cubs .. especially Darrell. Nice when friends are able to help out. I guess it was a great day from start to finish :D

I love the plowing in the high tunnel pics. I have been thinking about building one at home and thought the cub used to plow the inside would be just the ticket makes me want to start that project. Of course will have to stop raining so you could build or plow still waiting to plow my garden.
