No he wasn't missing. He has just been out playing.. er, I mean working with Cubs. Yesterday we had a cookout to celebrate Bonnie and Joseph graduating from Hocking College. Neither Bonnie or Joseph wanted a party so we had a "Not a graduation party cookout" instead. Being somewhat behind in our preparations for our guest Darrell and Janet jumped in to help. Darrell mowed with Spirit while I worked on backfilling the trench for the water and sewer line project between the house and barn. Miss Janet and Bonnie worked in the kitchen making all kinds of goodies for the evening's festivities. In the mean time David and Willy picked up two loads of manure for the high tunnel from my cousin John's farm.
Never passing up on an opportunity to use a cub we finished up by giving an indoor plowing demonstration for our arriving guest. I believe it is safe to say that it was the first time Darrell or myself for that matter have plowed indoors.
Who says a cub with a 59" mower can't cut tall grass?
Darrell doing a fine job of mowing.
Who's up for a little indoor plowing?
Willy showing he can keep up with the pros.
Doug playing in the dirt.
You know the hole wouldn't have been so big if the line was where the map said it would be.
