danco C3 belly mower lift chain

i cant find the chain, i have one somewhere but i need to put this thing together the lawn is getting tall. can i make one out of chain from tractor supply? should be fairly simple and cheap. everything else should be ready to go within a couple hours of work. spindles are mounted in the deck pullies and belts are all on mule drive is mounted on tractor and belly mower pulley is installed.

Don't see why not.

Try nearest hardware or farm and ranch type store. Depending on distance, probably cost more for the fuel than the chain.

any common off the shelf chain can be cut to length and used! thanks ; sonny
