Rear Wheel Weights

Picked up some rear weights the other day. Thanks to this forum for info on mounting them. A quick search gave me a bunch of ways to safely hoist them in place. I guess I should of painted them first. The whole rig needs to be painted this winter.

Don't worry about the color, My loader cub has 3 sets on it, one set red, one set yellow, and one set white, and they all need painting.

John, the holidays are coming up. Just paint the yellow ones blue. :D

Red, Blue and Yellow are all primary colours  Yellow goes nice with the red. Leave it that way .. no one is going to say anything aside from I like it. The contrast is interesting. Besides it is one way to show the JD guys what a tractor should look like  :-:-):

If it was mine I don't see a problem looks fine to me; but since it's yours, by all means you need to get that thing painted right away :D

Interesting rear rockshaft "rod". Probably not much down pressure though  Regardless, great looking Cub and I really like that style of turf tires.

Cheap way to make a rod. $8.00 worth of chain. I don't need downforce for the box blade.

If you painted the tractor green, they'd look like they belonged there. Don't hit me. Image

And red weights don't give you any more traction than yellow ones. Of course if you got your Cub a yelllow LoBoy friend you could use the weights on it and not have to "climb up" as far, and just think about how much money you could save not having to buy that step! :D

I have a few mowing cubs, I do not use weights on them as it is harder on the yard if it is wet any
