starter solenoid

Postby brichter » Wed May 15, 2013 8:24 pm

Does anyone know what the part number is for the starter solenoid on a 75 Cub? The NAPA number would be great. I can't seem to find anything about the solenoid in the parts manual. The PO had bypassed the clutch safety switch and I would like to get it working again but there again I can't find anything about it. any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Removed the old solenoid and take to any auto parts store. Tell the counter guy/gal it's a 12 volt solenoid. It's actually pretty universal, just some difference in mountings and perhaps the ignition circuit lug.
I have an excuse. CRS.

I plugged the original number 545 756 R2 into the NAPA cross reference, and got MPE 404SB.
