I was doing some work on my cub and decided the old fuel line had to go. I ordered one from TM which fit perfectly but the fittings are of a type I will never use again. I don't care if they are what IH used one of mine didn't break clean forcing the ferrule sideways with a resultant leak on the fitting next to the carb. The one at the tank broke correctly. I bought a new ferrule and nut, a short piece of line and a double compression fitting. Not original but that doesn't bother me. The extra fitting makes it very easy to install the fitting in the carb as the whole thing is kind of double jointed. Vern

Brendan,

Boss has got what you were asking for. It is crimped on the rubber line kinda like a hydraulic hose.

Here you go, I've had this rubber fuel line from Stevens on my tractors for over 10 years, no problems.

Three feet? Probably less than half that, unless you make a mistake, lol. Mine is already bogered up with a rubber hose and wrong fittings, maybe someday.

Eugene wrote:$5.00 answer. Cut off the old fuel line about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from the fittings. Remove burs with file and straighten out any major deformations. Take old metal fuel line into any auto parts store. Order 3 feet of "rubber" fuel line to fit the old metal fuel line and 2 hose clamps.

+1
thats how i do them, then i add an inline filter into the rubber section while i'm at it to keep the carb clean.
