I know you guys like pictures, and I know for a fact that there are skeptics out there that say cubs just aren't powerful enough to do anything, but last weekend it prooved the skeptics wrong :{_}:, AGAIN!! This is the first time for digging clay, with the 16" bucket, but the 100' job went without any problems. The cub performed great and once again the watchers were amazed that such a little tractor could make the job look easy. :D Even the village inspector couldn't believe the job was finished so quick. Here's a few pictures.

A couple points to verify. The inspector told us that the drop from the 4" we put in, to the main tie in at the sidewalk needed to have an angled tie in, not direct 90's . It's hard to tell in the picture, but there's two 45 degree elbows and a 4' piece of green pipe where it makes the transition. We used a transit to maintain the 1/4" per foot drop from the house to the sidewalk. We also removed the old cleanout cap that's viewed in the final pic. A new cleanout was installed around the backside of the house. The inspector was totally happy and signed the permit. Oops was also called prior to the digging :{_}: And the cub only used 1/2 tank of fuel from start to finish-----you can't beat that.

Rick:

You know that I am totally in agreement with this statement:

You have always been the inspiration to see what my Cubs can do. Every time I go to Princess and see the backhoe attachment that they have -

Prospector Towable Excavator

or this one:

Shur-Lift 3 Point Hitch Excavator

I drool and then the next thing is I am trying to figure out how I would mount em up to one of my Cubs. It is just the price that is a killer. Been thinking about looking for one off of a small Kioti. Man, the things I could do around here with a backhoe Cub .. I already have the loader  :{_}:

For those of you who have never seen a backhoe Cub, here is what Rick was using. A very neat machine.

I have seen it in action (digging a stump) and it is truly an impressive feat of engineering! Very, very cool Cub!

I think there may be a number on it ($$), but it's probably one of those...... if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Very limited edition!
