(according to what I read in one of the online manuals, this is determined from sitting in the seat facing forward) side, the dust cap, push-in type that goes over the castellated nut. The wrong part arrived. My men got frustrated, but my husband and our boy measured carefully, then went to their corners to consider. After searching scrap buckets, trash cans, wherever they could think of, my hubby decided to measure all the food cans in my kitchen. Happily, Campbell's Tomato Soup 10 3/4 oz. can seemed just right. The newer type, no seam on the side or the bottom. (We haven't eaten the soup yet, it's in a container in the fridge.
) I washed out the can, we brought it back to our boy's yard and they cut it, checked it out, it fit, now, it's painted.
Well, they are out of order, but check out our dust cover! Hopefully, it will last awhile. I'll update you all if it works or not.

A novel idea!
Can't hurt to check the level in the tranny, looks like the goop may have run out the drain hole below the brake (make sure it's open). You probably did that when you painted it, but it looks like the tranny was over filled or full of water at one point. Good idea to drain and flush the tranny anyway.

Yeah, it looks as though the poor little thing got flooded by either Katrina or some other storm. We are still operating on various things she has wrong with her, latest thing is, after redoing the rear end, the guys filled the hydraulic box, it is still seeping. Rats! We'll do whatever else we can before we try to figure out what else has gone SNAFU in there. I think there might be a seal or washer, felt/fabric? missing. We have been using every manual I could find on here, many thanks to everyone who made those available!! We also have the IH Shop Manual, incomplete version. I've pulled and printed blowups of the exploded views. Stuck the double sided prints in plastic sleeves, stuck them into a large 3 ring binder. I even got smart, printed the index page from the owner's manual. If they need to see something I haven't printed yet, they can give me page #s. Helps! Thank goodness for digital cameras, I was clicking like crazy as they were taking her apart, so, when they couldn't make sense of parts they removed that weren't in any manual, I printed some shots of how it came apart, yay me. Note to Russall, I like that soup, too, but it wouldn't have been the right color!>snerk< CapeCodCubs, I miss the old commercials, too, and Summer on the Cape.

350 821 R11, Retainer w/oil seal 392 220 R91. Rear axle nut, RH - Cub tractors.
Actually I think there is suppose to be no cap over the right hand rear axle nut, planter drive sprocket installed there.
I have a tin can over the right hand axle nut in the same location. Tin can was there when I purchased the tractor.
There is a cap for the right hand axle bearing for Cub lo-boy tractors. 350 819 R1. Don't know if this cap fits a standard Cub.

I was really needing the Inside Diameter, not really the part number...
Thanks anyhow, I'll get the measurements off my own when I get home.
