Farmall Cub

We had one we pulled behind a doodle bug, when I was a kid.....Guy down the road had one for sale last summer...Don't know if its still there or not, he moved to Florida....I guess we just called it "The Scoop"...

The scoop is what my Dad called a tumble bug or scraper.

The slip scraper is a 3 pt. mounted unit. Those were pertty much obsoluted by the frontend loaders everyone seems to have these days. I'll post more pictures once I get them home.

Hey Rickey Racer...I've got one of these that I'm trying to save from the scrap yard and get it to someone that might be in need...its kinda rusted up but still workable. When I was a kid, we had a "slip scraper" that was originally built to be pulled by horses. It was about 30 inches wide and had two handles on the rear to trip it over to dump. Shows how old I am!! Stan

I have one of those! Can't use it without a horse, and I don't have a tractor driver yet, lol! We called it a drag pan.

I sold mine. If I recall I got about $200 for it.

Does anyone remember a smaller version of this device posted on here? I've seen one somewhere, think it was white but worked like a rotary scoop/scraper, box blade and had scarifier teeth on it as well. I think I saw a garden tractor or Cub pulling it.

Answered my own question: the Gannon Earthcavator.

Don't believe I've ever seen one of those, much less know what it's called.

But it sure looks handy ! If you ever see one, pick it up for me. I'll take it in Cub or Cub Cadet size.
