My usual "shade tree mechanic" approach for Katrina w/mag was to disassemble the switch (2 term) and reverse the contact points inside so it was open when pulled out and grounded the mag when I pushed it in! It works! Dusty B

Tractor has magneto with external coil. So, 2 pronged ignition switch with one wire to amp meter and other wire to coil.
