Hi - Has anyone every made a cover for their Cub? I'm contemplating making one out of the same type material I cover my RV with. If by chance you have a pattern, I'd love to see it. BTW, this is not so it can sit out in the rain - it's a general cover for in the 200 year old barn and if I should by chance need to leave it outside. Which is unlikely after the time I'm putting into this.
Regards, Ken

Had one made for my 30' fishing boat...Guy just came out and measured and made it(20 years ago)....Often they used to visit Marina's and make what ever you needed right on the spot.....However if you're going to do it yourself a pattern would be helpful...But then again necessity is the mother of invention...Dave

Get a cheap polytarp, drape it over the cub, then start cutting out where it doubles up, and use duct tape to secure the edges. When you have a shape you like, cut along the duct tape into into manageable pieces, and voila you have your pattern.

I find that a cheap nylon universal car cover works just fine.

I'm even cheaper! Use an old bed sheet your wife wants to throw out. Mine don't set out either except at a show, and if it rains they won't melt. They don't get any wetter than when you wash them.

I got this image off of Google. No info on the cover though. A little time googling might turn up something.

Re: Custom Cover for FCub
I had one "in the works" for KubKraft and had all the patterns measured. It was going to be form fitted and multi colored. The place I was going to buy the fabric from offered a variety of colors so I wanted red or yellow for the main body section and silver for the vertical muffler(if they had one). Like everything else with these cubs, a one cover to fit all would be hard to make because someone would have some attachment that would interfere. I ended up scraping the idea when the seamstress wanted way to much money for her efforts. Every thing I had for the project was tossed, except the heavy duty sewing machine. I can still picture the cover in my mind

I bought an ATV cover from Cabelas. It is a bit oversized, even over the exhaust pipe, but has an elasticized bottom. Not exactly pretty, but it keeps the rain, sun and snow off it when I leave it outside.
