Go for it! You won't regret going. Many of us travel 300, 400, and more miles to attend. My wife and I drive 750 miles one way every year to attend DSCF. Well worth the travel time.

750 miles to a cotton-pickin CubFest. Who in his right mind would travel that far to spend a weekend with a bunch of gear-heads. Wouldn't catch me doing that!!!!

Another option, after you hve gone to a couple of Cubfests, is to start one of your own. You are located roughly halfway between Northeast Cubfest and the Cub tug. There are a lot of cub owners in Western New York, Nothwest PA and Northeast Ohio. Wyoming County seems like a logical place for a Cubfest. I live one county to the west of you, and I would certainly attend (I would have one, but not enough room at my place). All you need is a little bit of land and someone who can make really good omelettes.

Lets see, five people in the pic:
2 from Ohio
1 from Colorado
1 from Tennessee
and the one from Florida

Some of the folks working getting their hands dirty, some folks supervising, and the rest jackin' there jaws. Looks like a CubFest to me. :) :)

I especially am impressed by that good looking dude standing next to Mr. E in the red and black shirt.

ad356,
Give me a shout! I'm up in Grand Island, about 30-miles from you (probably less). You're welcome to come up and hang out, talk tractors, any time you want. I've also thought about holding a Western NY CubFest. I've been to to a couple of the Ohio Cubfests, and Barnyard Bashes, but my folks live there so it's easy for me to work it in. I've yet to make it to Cecil's for a cubfest, but I've been there a few times in my various trips to the east. I've now got a nice hunting camp out in Oakfield, with about 200-acres, and would make a great place for a cubfest, but just have to work out the timing.

Anyway, give me a shout. We should at least get together!

I attended my first cubfest this year. I Learned more in 2 days than I had absorbed from the forum and working on my own cub in the last 3 years of ownership. I highly recommend it.

750 miles is hardly worth filling up the tank for.

Right, Mr. Bob. You must have traveled a million miles going to these events.

Bob even made it to CubFest Northeast NB 2009 .. and that is quite the run from Colorado to here. Probably one of the longest treks at 4022.94 kilometres or 2500 miles. Course, I think by air it is a little shorter
