Lo-Boy Demonstrator?

What years were demonstrators produced? Did they offer any Lo-Boys as demonstrators? The reason I ask is my '57 has white on the breather cap and some white paint on the gas cap.
You can't see it very good on the gas cap in the picture, but trust me, it's there.
