Looks good Rudi, It may be yellow and white but it's still a Cub on the inside!

Rudi, Congrats on the new member of the family. Yellow is good. Red is better. I just happen to like red. The metal looks good regardless of what color it is or that you wish to make it. :D Vern

Paint it red and put the black strip on it. I won't tell anyone.

Only ONE  Cub for mowing duties???????? Sunday I mowed the yard with the Lo-boy (Cub 4) with the Woods 59, switched to Cub 2 with the Woods 42 to mow the tall heavy stuff along the highway, then switched to Cub 1 with the Sickle mower to mow the bank along the highway. Cub 3 has a 152 disc plow on it at the moment, but I have a Mott Mower for it if I ever do a little work on it. :D

Not your fault, you were just the impetus. I have been pondering this for a while. Almost bought one - last fall but couldn't figure out how to get it home. Had I used my brain for more than something to separate my ears with .... :big give up: I would have had one in the barn all winter

As for the second part ... hey I gots 4 daughters .. I essentially live with 5.5 females ok.... you can't influence females period -- why are you even trying :bellylaugh:

I have been thinking about the yellow and white ones for quite a while. I really liked Larry's Rufus and I like the ones in Denny's pic. There are a lot that I like including George's twins -- the red and white and the yellow and white round nose lo-boys. I really like the solid yaller ones too. If it is a Cub it is going to be nice period. Red are my favourite cause they are my first. The rest grow on you pretty quickly. The only ones that I am not too sure about is them white ones

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. It will be nice to have this one home in October. I still need another one or two. I intend to pick up the wife's uncle's Cub .. which is the one that started this whole mess. So when Clorice decides he isn't going to garden anymore .. I am going to try to bring that one home. The more the merrier. :{_}:

You know, speaking about my JD, it would be far cheaper for me to buy a Cub and put a mower on it than it cost me to replace the mower deck, have it installed, get the Ready, Set, Mow program done :big give up: $1,100.00 later I can now cut grass again.

What am I thinking  But then again, me bride bought me the JD when the Craftsman died so .........

Chris, there is no real difficulty. Long as my documents are in order it is as simple as 1,2,3.
