As Rick said, SeaFoam is not a miracle worker but it does make a lot of improvements. I have tried other snake oil fixes but after learning about MMO and SeaFoam, I now just use those two products (depends on what mood I am in and my stocks of SeaFoam as the time :lol:as to which I choose) exclusively.

There is nothing to fear about doing the valves .. trust me when I say that if I can do it, anyone can and it really is sooo easy once you start. It is just a matter of following the steps and paying attention to what you are doing.

Take the carb off, it is much easier especially the first time. While the valve cover is off - I liberally sprayed Nut Buster on the whole tappet assembly .. this will help in moving the nuts ... or tappet screws.

The nuts on the tappets are made to turn hard, if they turned easy they would get out of adjustment! It should be plenty oily.
