I recently paid $65 for the angle drive. No pulley. Local purchase so no shipping made it attractive. Vern

And it is a fun project :big smile:

Oh .. you gotta pay attention to that Hyatt 1204T - I am still trying to source it in Canada. I know where they are -- just trying to get them here in town is proving to be extremely difficult. :!:

Rudi, that is the only 'Cub' part I gave up for unobtainable.... You know where to get them, right?? Stupid me put all the seals and bearings in the one of the Cub's Mott BEFORE I pulled the gears out of the biodiesel bath... somewhere along the line someone skipped some spacers and the gears are pretty gaffed up. That explains why that mower was so loud.

I flushed out one I got at Boss Hog's fest (never used!) and put it on the mower....

Pull the bevel gear before trying to remove the shaft.... is my tip of the day. Otherwise the key will hang on the bearing and gaff up the key slot and bearing.

Mine is complete with pulley,---- it had a reserve of $105. and my high bid was $95, so sale people asked if I was ok with $105. and I went with that, thinking it might be close in the price range!-- thanks guys!!! sonny

Guess I was lucky, got mine at an estate auction with a pile of other stuff (some orange) for $10.00. Has the flat pulley, now I need a V pulley so I can make ice cream or gen electricity or pressure wash.

Larry:

Yup, I have them tagged on :eBay: but trying to get them through Motion is proving to be a huge headache. Motion apparently has 1,600 of them somewhere here in Canada but I can't get any of em to Moncton :big give up: So I guess I will just have to order some and maybe pick em up at Cecil's.
