I can't thank you enough Cecil. You are the greatest! I'm sure most here already know that. Not only did he helicoil the stripped out threads in my carb and sediment but he cleaned them too, clean as brand new, with new intake manifold gasket and lugs too. I had been trying to install a new steel fuel line without use of the most important tool of all - my head...

When I acquired this tractor the steel gas line had been cut and some rubber tubing with an in line plastic and paper element filter had been clumsily installed. The line at the sediment bowl was broke loose and leaking. I got rid of the filter while I was re connecting the line and ended up with this...
Turns out the sediment bowl and screens had 60 years of crud in them so a cheap plastic filter might be the cure? The previous owner lhought the tractor had serious engine problems when he sold it to me cheap. Anyway, here is how it looks now with Cecil's help and the help and advice from all the rest of you guys too...
