Seat time

Postby Harold R » Tue Aug 20, 2013 8:36 pm

These days i'll take seat time just about anyway I can get it. I got to use my fast hitch carry-all, which is about the most handiest implement for the cub. Clint Carter made a batch of them a couple of years ago and I'm certainly glad I got one.
Now i'd like to tell you I was busy hauling firewood, or putting hay in the barn, but no, I was henpecked into moving flower pots.
But they were manly flower pots, not the frail, fake pottery type. These are concrete. And for some reason they need to migrate from the front porch to the back porch about as often as my wife changes shoes. (Hmmm.....might be a connection.)
Resistance was futile, and as usual, the cub fired right up so the, hefty flower pots were moved. Tractor was placed back in the shed, and I promply walked back in the house and turned on ESPN. Things we do to keep the kitchen open.

Looks like the platform paid for itself today. Does this mean there are new pots coming for the front porch ? :D

Surely seems the purpose of a 'flower pot' is to contain some kind of vegetation... And from what that redfin character says when we have snow ya'll are wallering in what counts as summer up this way, so it could be winter in Louisiana?? (I am not that geographically challenged, I really do know that you are on the same side of the equator as us 'northerners' ).

I am up to my eyeballs in mowing between the rock farm and Ft Adams, so anytime you find yourself overnight in Providence (or Portland) let me know. I would gladly at least give you a tour of either place made of Maine granite... or some seat time that is a bit more challenging than not breaking a planter
