Final Drive Bearing Cover Studs

For my serial number Cub "Note A" from TC-37-A notes that the upper bearing cover used studs and 3/8' nuts. During disassembly the studs came out with the nuts - because the top ones in particular had been rounded off by chains hitting there over the years. Notes B and C indicate for higher serial number Cubs a 3/8 x 3/4 bolt were used instead of the studs and nuts.
Since, my studs are so badly worn and rusted I've concluded that I can use the 3/8 x 3/4 cap bolts. I've confirmed they don't hit the bull gear when fully tightened. Do any of you see any issue with this approach?
