Well it's being a month since I posted anything on this, got side tracked.
I have tried 5 or 6 times to fix the leak in the lower housing and have had no luck, tried to fix it by re welding it, if I use low power it I get pin holes and it leaks through them.
If I use high power it seems to crack right along the edge of the weld and leak.
I don't know how to fix this, maybe I should of tried the JB weld as was suggested. ???
I think the best way now is to replace the lower housing with a good one.

On the upside I did get some needed parts and got some more Red paint on it, the hood looks good.

Cast can be brazed. However, you are not going to like my suggestion.

Remove the radiator. Clean up the interior and exterior of the lower radiator housing/bolster to bare metal. Braze from the inside. Then check for leaks. Smooth up the outside with epoxy.

And one more thought. As above but use marine epoxy to completely coat the bolster interior.
I have an excuse. CRS.
