Unusual Belly Mower - Continental Belton Co.

Postby Xperimental » Thu Sep 05, 2013 10:30 pm

I saw this mower on a 1957 Farmall Cub in an auction last month. It was unusual enough that I took some pictures. The unusual way the mower is driven off the PTO caught my eye.

Here is a thread about the rebuild of one of these by a forum member.

There was also one of these just sold with a Cub on Ebay last month.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

yeah, I imagine that may have something to do with why they weren't more prevalent.
