Need a muffler?

Postby Smokeycub » Fri Oct 25, 2013 1:22 pm

I stumbled acrossed this today, thought it may be useful. Seems the "tractor" stores don't carry much variety. Seemed reasonable too, don't know about shipping. I live close enough to drive to Summit in Akron.

The squeaky wheel may get the grease but it's usually the first to be replaced!

My local tractor supply has what would be needed on my cub, but those look good too. One thing I notice, though. The pipe ahead of my muffler is broken/corroded 3/4 of the way around. Even after pulling the cheesy muffler tape repair off it's still very quiet. How much does the muffler really do on the low slung set up.
