Buyer beware !!

"...tractor has been restored to like new condition..."

If this is what a new tractor is like, don't know if I would want one.
How many incorrect parts can you spot ?
Don't let the pristine paint job distract you.

I'll bite, Dave! Keep in mind that I'm still pretty new with these things. I have a square nose LoBoy and have never been around the taller brother.. What I've seen is wrong gas cap, rubber fuel line, possibly a mag, (can't see it very well) and something seems squirrely with the blade mount brackets. I see a voltage regulator and maybe should have had an alternator.
Go easy on me and point out what I should have found...
Regards, Stan

Stan, just curious as to why you say the gas cap is wrong.

I know there is a recall, but don't know when it was implemented in production. I have the taller one for my '64. Maybe it was an after production recall...

Seat is wrong. Unless they changed it, but the yellow Cub I've driven had a black cushion seat with a little back/lumbar support. The shift for the one I drove was curved downward. It almost looks like a combination of a red cub and the yellow.

I'm used to seeing this, I don't know what the other years may have looked, if they did look any different.

What are they trying to get for this tractor? It might be OK, if you don't expect authenticity to any particular degree.

I don't think it looks like a magneto. If course, it isn't going very far with battery ignition and no battery.

It has the wrong seat, wrong decals, wrong color on the fenders, rear rims and some other small pieces. There are a few pieces of a mower attached. It has a rear light bracket but no lights. Trailer tires?

I'd say price is at least 2X higher than a realistic selling price. Especially, going into the winter season.

I seen that on CL and thought maybe he got the 2 and 5 switched around. And for that price it still needs a battery?

The choke control is wrong, and I do not see a key ignition. Just my 2 cents! :D

And, what year did they go with the zenith carb. My two cents, Papa.
