Nice project, but I tired a similar tractor seat on one of my cubs, and after I used it a while I did not like it.

Thanks yaw Well it sat really nice but was a pain getting off of! thanks to the arm rest on the right! lol so i stuck the ole pan seat back on rides a ton better! The ole Ford is my Granddads 1966 Ford F-100 Custom-Cab Longbed 352 3 speed on the Tree with 157,000 Real miles on her! Photo from a few weeks ago after i washed her down an waxed her a little. the Rims have been on since 1978 when mu dad bought them also True Dual Exhaust with Big Daddy Mufflers.

That is one nice ford. I thought it was a 63. but 66, nice. Those cubs look mighty slick to.

Seriously, hope your "new" seat is firmly attached to the post and is safe. With a high back and arm rests, you may be putting additional rear and side loads on the post/plate that were not designed for it. Probably will be fine, but I wouldn't fall asleep in it.
