It really doesn't matter what method you use to fasten them down, you will still need to periodically clean out the dust/dirt and moisture accumulation from underneath the mats. So use whatever seems to be the most practical to you.

My biggest problem was, do i want the farmall facing inwards or outwards...Haven't tackled the hold down yet...
Dave PS got the matching steering wheel cover for the 53....Looks good....

Dave, is this the one you got?
I put this one in my truck. I never tried it on a Cub and was wondering how well it fit on one.

I use 3M non skid cut to size and relieved for the protruding bolts. you can see part of it on my Super A.

on my cubs it has lasted 10 years and still looks good.

Yep Bill thats the one....I originally bought it for my truck also but it was was a super tight fit and I didn't have a hairdryer on hand so I tried it on the 53 and so far its worked great....How ever it was fall when I put it on, remains to be seen how it'll be in hot weather....
