Rear wheel weight bolts

Postby cowboy » Wed Jun 15, 2005 1:31 pm

Hi ya-all

I am looking for the type and size for the bolts to hold on the rear wheel weights. I thought I had seen them here before but I cannot find them now.

P.S. unless somthing happens I plan on heading to cubfest sat morning. I am going out today to get a new package of tapes for the video camera and a new tripod. And I hope BD can find me a place to plug it in to recharge it as I plane on doing a lot of taping and I only have a 1 hr battery. Looking forward to meeting those that can make it in person.

Thanks HIGG

Been wanting to get those weights on. I'm tired of doing burnouts on the lawn.

I was thinking of taking my weights off so the tires didn't cut in so bad.
You got me thinking maybe I shouldn't.

If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.

Hey Mac...Be VERY carefull in trying to remove your Cub rear wheel weights  . Each one weighs in at 140 lbs  !!! It's a very tricky job for one person (unless you've got an engine lift or chain hoist that you can hook a sling up to...BEFORE you start removin' the 4 bolts) :D Besides Mac...isn't it "wood haulin' time" in Nova Scotia :? ? You'll need those wheel weights on the Cub to haul in all that firewood so ya can stay "toasty warm" in the Fall & Winter  !!!

Country Elliott: For some reason I already have next winters wood, I got a
buy on some already cut . A friend has a 2 ton chain fall and I could use
the weights on the cub I use in the garden now that I have 3 cubs working.
How would of thought two years ago I didn’t have any and if I don't stop plowing the wife mite see to it that I don't get any more.

I was worried about rutting up the yard but at this point I am tired of spinning. I have enought hills that theat right rear gets real light and when this clay is dry it is slippery. I guess if I rut up the yard its time to get that yard roller I've been wanting to buy. Real excited to be going to cubfest leaving in the morning.

Safe trip Billy. What is it a little under 4 hours?
