I've Been Getting A Lot Of Seat Time Lately, And Lovin' It.

Postby ricky racer » Sun Jan 26, 2014 7:22 pm

The snow keeps coming unlike most years. The local News Casters are saying that we've had 5" more snow already this year than our normal snow amount for the whole year. I kind of had a feeling that we'd get hit pretty good this year so I've been keeping the snow pushed back quite a ways so I don't run out of room to push new snow. As I've mentioned before, I have two driveways. The longer one is gravel and goes back to my barn while the shorter one is concrete and goes to my attached two car garage.

The Cub has been working great and never misses a beat. The doubled up wheel weights and added draw bar weight has really helped out. Today after I was done pushing the snow this afternoon, I took a few pictures.

Yes, lots of seat time for some serious snow pushing.

That'll keep you in the seat for a while. Looks like a nice place for a CubFest. :D
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Bill, I am not complaining about not pushing snow for sure. I get plenty of seat time cutting grass from April through November.

Another 8 inches of snow here with a few more coming today and Wednesday with wind chills in the -25 to -45 range. Glad this cub starts easily with a charged battery! Plowed this morning and I'm almost out of room for snow! I'm been running the same trail to get the cub from the barn to the driveway. It's mid rear tire as of today. I even have a hard time making the 150ish feet to the driveway.

Here's a pic from yesterday in my lane.
A bit much for the cub.
Our drive is nearly 1/2 mi long. I made it about 1/2 way and gave up as it was closing in behind me and I had to work to get back where I'd started.
The spot where I took this pic is 100% plugged again as of this morning.
We're snowmobiling across the field to the end of the lane where our vehicles are parked.
