Snowing...I'm heading out early!!!
It just started snowing here in NC with more snow and ice for tomorrow pm, so I am heading out tomorrow morning instead of Wednesday. Don't know yet where I will spend the extra day...maybe I will just continue to DSCF and see if you guys need help. If the go away sign is up, I simply turn around and play somewhere else!!!
Hope those KEY LIME PIES will be OK being made a day earlier!?! Maybe I can make them down there if I bring all the fixin's? Only would need the use of an oven for a bit. Let me know Mr E...or else I will make them tonight and hope they stay good.
I WANT SOME SUN!!!!

I hear you, Dale. The storm is called Pax. We've definitely ruled out the I-75 route. It appears I-65 will be just to the west of the bad part (I hope).

Mike, who??? Just kidding!
OK, last chance for anyone at DSCF that needs something from the IH store. My $45 wavey washer is in and I will be picking it up on my way south. If you need anything, call me: 919-360-7979. Pick up is FREE!!! But transport is VERY costly!!!

Our plans WERE to leave Wednesday Morning stay in Atlanta We'd. Night then on to Sneads, however with the impending storm we
Will need to delay departure until Friday morning at the earliest . We plan to drive straight through and be at DSCF on Saturday. WE have researched all options and this seems to be the most reasonable course of action. Hope to see everyone
Saturday.

Re: Snowing...I'm heading out early!!!
Well, I made it to the IH dealer for my part, met Mike for Don's FH part to Cub Express to DSCF, and took off into the snowstorm, heading for warmer climes!!! Good news is that the roads were warm and had been salted, so no ice or accumulation. Since I am a day earlier than planned, I will probably stop early to avoid any freezing roads. Bad news is I can hear the car rusting away!!!!
Used I-77 south out of Charlotte... making good time. Y'all drive safely out there!

I remember Atlanta in 1973 or there abouts. Rain in NC, black ice in SC, and snow in Atlanta. Felt really weird being the only car on 285. After Lagrange it was smooth sailing. Glad it was late and not rush hour!

We are in Panama City. Weather when we left Indiana was slick, snowing. That was on Sunday morning. So far weather is a whole lot better than up north. Everyone have a Safe trip.
