Well no harm for me. I hate to say it, butthe biggest head of cabbage Ive ever grown was about the size of a softball. Guess the german side of my family never taught me the proper way to grow cabbage.

Never tried growing cabbage, because in this area worms are a problem with items such as head lettuce, cabbage, even sweet corn, etc. However, I think cabbage is pretty dependent on climate, and I wonder about the temperature and humidity (or lack of) in your area being a problem.
