1000 loader return hose length

Postby Bob McCarty » Fri Feb 28, 2014 7:27 pm

Could one of you that has a 1000 loader measure the length of the low pressure return hose? I believe it is 3/4" ID, but can't find a length in the manual or parts description.

Thanks, Bob

Bob...It looks like Messicks has the lengths on the "E-08" diagram.

Dave, It shows the lengths for the pressure lines but not for the "sump" hose which is what I need. Thanks for looking.

Bob, I got the measurements we talked about on the phone. Under the Cub like mine (owner mod perhaps) the hose is 48". Over the hood looks like it would be about 36". I measured from the touch control on the Cub to the bottom fitting on the loader reservoir. That 48" measurement includes the mess of fittings that have been added on mine that you probably don't need.

Here is how it is run on mine.

Here is that mess of fittings I mentioned.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Bob, on the below installation I used a 3 footer. That was what the old one was. It has been on a Cub, Lo-Boy and now a 140 and it works fine.
