Can anyone tell me what size bolts to use to go up through the steering gear housing into the bolster? I would guess they need to be grade 8 but what size and thread do they need to be?

Also, on the final drive, what size bolts go into the flange on the outside on the bottom axle?

Item 19, which requires 5 each 7/16"-14nc bolts, 1 1/4" long.

I'm not sure what bolts you are referring to with the final drives.

Thanks for that sheet. That is perfect. To show my stupidity what does the " nc" after the 14 stand for? The thread count?

I'll try to make it clearer which bolts I'm talking about on the final drive.

Down on the axle of the final drive, there is a flange on the outside that holds a seal. That is the flange I'm talking about that I need the bolt sizes for that.

NC = National Course
Item 15, 3/8"-16nc, 5/8" long. It shows a total of 8, but thats 4 for each side.

Thanks very much. Everything seems easy when you know what you are doing....but the rest of us have a hard time.
