Event Information

Postby Jason_Coffey » Fri Mar 21, 2014 9:57 am

I am planning to attend the N.E. Oklahoma Cubfest: April 25th - 26th, 2014 in Dewey, OK. Is there any information on this event? I have not been to a cub event and have no idea what to expect.

Thanks!

Jason, if there's anything you want to bring to work on, let us know and we'll get it on the projects list or bring your cubs just to look at. Always nice to see other tractors.

Thanks Art. The only work I have, that I can't complete myself (lack of skills), is installing new gears in my transmission. My F Cub has a couple of gears that were badly eaten up with rust thanks to the PO. I'm not sure if that's something anyone would want to mess with over a busy weekend though.

Other than that, I can bring them both with me if you you need more yard ornaments. :D

I wish I didn't have to work that weekend or I would be there, I tried to take vacation, but someone already has it and he won't give it up! Maybe next year.

Jason, you'll have a great if for no other reason checking out Mike's machine shop. I believe he is going to try to get his cub ready to re-assemble. The previous events have been pretty laid back, which fits my believe of getting acquainted is one reason to go. Last year Raymond and Jeff rebuilt a couple of touch controls, but they were fast and young and very good. The host, Mike, Art and Johnny will make you feel at home. Gary and I will be staying at Super 8, getting in on Thursday night and leaving Saturday afternoon. Not sure who all is coming this year, but it has always been a pleasure for me to attend.

This will be my first. I am looking forward to it. I am planning to bring my wife and my folks with me if everyone can get away.
