Jason,
You need the Speedy Sleeve if the pulley has a groove worn in it from the old seal.
The new seal won't have anything to seal to without use the Speedy Sleeve.

If there is a groove in the shaft where the seal rides, you'd want to use a speedi-sleeve.

Saturday morning I grabbed a hand full of scrap flat bar and welded up a gas tank bracket so I could mount a plastic gas tank on the lowboy. (Still working on the hood/tank) Strapped a tank on it and plowed the garden. That thing plows like a champ. I need to weight the front down though. If I let the clutch out too fast it likes pop wheelies. Anyway, ran great, and had fun with it. People driving by staring at me. Probably wondering why I was plowing my garden with half a tractor.
