There is a woods fast hitch mower on ebay. That I might be interested in.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Farmall-IH-1pt- ... 5663a6e2cf
A little rough but looks all there and actually don't look rusted out. The main thing I was wondering is it for a lo-boy or the regular? or is there a difference? My sister would like one to add to her fast hitch collection for her reg. 55 cub.
Thanks,
Russel

I have no history with that seller other than to see his auctions on eBay. On his Buy it Now deals he has always seemed to be VERY high and they seem to be listed forever. From his description and price it looks like he values it as a high priced parts item.
As to your question, it would fit on either a standard or Lo-Boy Cub.

The seller says
Anybody who is interested is better off contacting the seller before hitting the buy it now button to make sure. This is about 2 1/2 hours northwest of the Bash.
just got in on a NON-RUNNING Farmall cub tractor.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: fast hitch woods mower reg or loboy
I e-mailed him and he said it came off a reg. Cub. Correct me if I am wrong but don't the A, 100, 140, have a standard size P.T.O.? This one on ebay has what looks like the finer spline p.t.o. of the cub.
He is about 3 hours west of us. I did not think this was a horrible price for the fast hitch version of this mower. I know it probably need some work but around us any cub stuff is few and far between.

Yeah, I saw that too that he listed for Cub-140, but he sells "equipment" (all brands) and I'm not sure he has knowledge of these differences.
Ralph, I still have your sun umbrella in the truck. Next time we cross paths, I'll return it.

Sorry about that...I am the one who bought it. I had already been talking to the seller, trying to get transportation for it via Cub Express...since the 12th. Didn't want you to think I read your post and "stole" it out from under you. Honestly, I wouldn't do that. I had been looking for over a year just for the drive shaft! If you find a good drive shaft for me, maybe we can work something out...

Hey Dale,
No biggy, I did not know anyone here was looking at it as well. I was just rather interested as it did not look all that bad to me and it was within decant driving distance for me. I would have bought it right away but I was unsure about the point height being for a regular cub or a lo-boy. I don't have a extra drive shaft, but if you find one before you have it picked up let me know, I can drive over and relive you of it.

It's a deal...a bunch of folks know I am looking for one...maybe we will both get lucky! Now I need to find it a ride to NC or Boss'. You're not heading to Boss' VA Fest are you?! I know, that would be adding insult to injury, asking you to haul the mower!!!
