174 runner planter help
I just can't get the right adjustment for enought pressure on the packing wheel. My planter was missing the pressure rod, but I got one from Boss last year. I have moved the runner mounting to all three holes, moved the bolt adjustment in the center and nothing changes the pressure on the packing wheel. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried adjusting the down pressure on your cultivator lift springs they control your implement down pressure like on your cultivators. You can read how to do this in any year cultivator manual online.

This unit floats. Are you sure you have it set up right? I've never had this problem with mine. It's not going to put much pressure. Soil condition? Freshly tilled or no till?
