What carburator should i use?

Hi' when i bought my cub 8 years ago it had a replacement carb on it.The seller took the factory carb.off to clean and broke idle stem.Tractor runs fine.should i repair factory IH carb to have the original back on tractor or leave things alone. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Will it run any better or worse? thanks Steve.

If it runs I would not worry about it. The idle tube can be replaced CAREFULLY. It is a 4-48 thread. Not an easy tap to find if needed.

you most likely have a Zenith on it now , which is a much better carburetor, I would leave it alone.
