I am looking to order a carburetor rebuild kit. I have an IH carburetor on my 1948 Cub.
The part number stamped on the throttle body is 251234R93.
All the kits I have found say they work for several part numbers including 251234R94 . I find no mention of the ..R93 variant, mine.
Will these kits work on my carburetor? Are these two numbers interchangeable?
Thanks!
NOTE: My unit does have the 'IH' emblem on the float bowl as mentioned in the Steiner catalog.

The kit almost certainly will work. I stand to be corrected, but the numbers after the R indicate revisions. Thus 94 is the next revision after 93. Should not affect the carburetor kit.

Unless you're sure that you need more than just the body gasket, manifold gasket and idle tube, I'd just order those individual parts from McDonald Carb.

I agree with Bob, you will never use half the stuff that comes in a kit.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
