Finally got the cub out of the shed

Postby 56cub » Tue May 06, 2014 10:17 pm

I'm a little behind on posting this but I finally was able to get some time to mess with my cub again. I parked it in the shed last June because it needed/ still needs the carb cleaned and I planned on getting to it not long after that. Well I got busy with work, then school and it sat without being touched or run until mid March. The Cub fired up fairly easily and ran good, which is surprising when you consider the gas in it is well over a year old and sat in the carb the whole time. Even more surprising was when the clutch worked like it should, instead of sticking slightly like it did back in June. Now I just need to get some time to clean the carb, drain the old gas out and patch a pin hole in the gas tank. Then the Cub will be put to work more weeds and brush again this summer.

Looks to be a good working Cub. Also a fan of that 11-bar grille! :coffee:
