Hydraulic Block Cover Torque

Postby Chris in WI » Tue Jun 03, 2014 9:30 pm

Anyone know what the hydraulic block cover bolts ( the ones on the bottom) should be torqued to? One write-up in the How-to forum says 35 but does not specify in-lbs or foot-lbs. Thanks

those are 5/16 standard grade bolts and according to the chart in the front of the service manual only torque to 13 ft. lbs. Normally when someone says a bolt torques to X pounds, they are referring to foot pounds.

you are part of the problem!!!
